Remote? How Does That Work?
Born out of the newly-defined landscape of remote workflows, Post World leverages the latest technology for seamless collaboration among global Editors, Colorists, Composers, Sound Designers, and VFX/Animation artists. We connect our clients to the right post talent for the right job, no matter where your team [or ours] is located. This decentralized approach enhances efficiency, expands our talent pool, allows for more competitive pricing, and a better work/life balance for all parties.
Live Sessions?
Yes! We offer and prefer to utilize live supervised sessions for edit, color, and more. Our technology partnerships allow us to give you a virtual room, accessible via a secure link. Your virtual room is HD or 4K resolution, low latency, and color-accurate. All joinees, including those on our team, can share their webcam, annotate on-screen, and send/receive files. While all of this is possible in any web browser, we also offer iOS & tvOS apps for the highest picture quality and screen sizes.
Are You Only Remote?
While we pride ourselves on a seamless remote workflow, we understand this might not fit every project's needs. Our home base is in Austin, TX but we can easily spin up a room for you in NY, LA, Chicago and more. Depending on your project's specific needs, we can also have our post talent work directly with you in-person, at your own offices/studios/sets.
Is This All Of Your Talent?
The names listed in our talent page are all on our roster, and they are some of the best people to collaborate with whether it's for a week, or for a year. Yes, we are biased. However, we also work with a plethora of editors, colorists, designers, animators, composers, sound designers, mixers, and much more behind the scenes and/or on a per project basis that are not listed on our talent page.
What about AI?
We're not afraid of Skynet... yet. That's why we utilize AI as a tool, not a replacement for our post talent — Concepting, Previzing, Storyboarding, and also as a "look" in itself, if the project calls for it. However, we won't use AI when it doesn't benefit the creative, doesn't streamline a process, or sends your client's legal team into a never ending spiral of fear, frenzy, and chaos.
